'Taxi Brooklyn' Grows 10% vs. Premiere

NBC tied for the nightlong win in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks and won the night outright among those nets in total viewers, with time-period wins from “America’s Got Talent” and “Taxi Brooklyn.”

 

  • “Taxi Brooklyn" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew versus last week’s debut by +10% in adult 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 rating from a 1.0) and by +1% in  total viewers (5.367 million vs. 5.338 million), pending updates.  Versus NBC’s average in the time period last summer, “Taxi Brooklyn” was up +30% in total viewers (5.367 million vs. 4.134 million, L+SD non-sports).

 

  • “Taxi Brooklyn” won the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, as well as total viewers, adults 18-34 and adults 25-54, plus all key adult-female demos.

 

  • An encore telecast of "America’s Got Talent" (1.4/5 in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) won the two-hour time period among the Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.  “Talent” is up +8% versus one week ago in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3) and up +3% in total viewers (6.345 million vs. 6.151 million).  From its first half-hour to its fourth, the “America’s Got Talent” rebroadcast grew by +60% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.0) and by +33% or 1.8 million persons in total viewers (7.2 million vs. 5.4 million).

 

  • Last night’s “America’s Got Talent” rebroadcast attracted NBC’s biggest overall audience in the slot, excluding sports, since Jan. 8, and scored the network’s top 18-49 rating in the time period, excluding sports, since May 14.
