TNT's Cold Justice Scores Three More Arrests,

Including Double Arrest in July 11 Episode

Real-Life Investigation Series Continues Closing Cases as Ratings Increase

TNT's real-life investigation series Cold Justice has helped secure three more arrests – including a double arrest in a 10-year-old case from Columbus, Ga. – in its ongoing quest to help local law enforcement officers in small towns across the country close long-unsolved cases. In this week's episode, airing Friday, July 11, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), former prosecutor Kelly Siegler and former crime-scene investigator Yolanda McClary help put two suspects behind bars in a case involving a messy divorce, a bitter custody battle and a cold-blooded murder. Cold Justice has also assisted in bringing about an arrest in a 39-year-old case from Vigo County, Ind., with that investigation currently slated to be featured in the show's season finale in August.

Since the premiere of Cold Justice last September, Siegler and McClary have assisted local law enforcement in securing a total of 15 arrests, eight criminal indictments, four confessions, two guilty pleas and a 22-year prison sentence. On Friday, July 18, John Walsh (America's Most Wanted) will host a special episode of Cold Justice entitled "Justice Served," which will look back at the remarkable results achieved by investigators on the show. The episode was created in response to fan requests for case updates.

Cold Justice kicked off its summer run on June 20, and its ratings are on the rise as the show has averaged 2.3 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, +25% compared to its winter episodes. The show has also grown its delivery of adults 18-49 by +11%.

In this week's episode of Cold Justice, Siegler and McClary head to Columbus, Ga., to help local investigators solve the shooting death of Kirby Smith, an auto body shop owner who was killed in 2004. Kirby was a one of a kind guy that everyone knew and loved. He had three children: Dustin and Heather from his first marriage, and little Kirby from his marriage to his second wife, Becky. At the time, Kirby and Becky were engaged in a bitter divorce and custody battle, during which Becky was dating her future husband, Heath Haynie. Becky also had an unusual relationship with a man by the name Bull Phillips, who seemed willing to do just about anything for her. In the days leading up to the murder, Kirby had told family and friends that he and Becky had finally come to an agreement on the terms of their divorce. But that evening in his shop, Kirby was shot and killed leaving investigators wondering who pulled the trigger.

Cold Justice is produced for TNT by Wolf Reality and Magical Elves, with Emmy® winners Dick Wolf (Law & Order, Chicago Fire), Dan Cutforth & Jane Lipsitz (Top Chef, Time of Death) and Tom Thayer (Hitchcock, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee), serving as executive producers.
