New Telenovela “Mi Corazón es Tuyo” Reached 8.4 Million Total Viewers 2+, Helped Univision Rank No. 1 Among Adults 18-34 Mon-Fri 8-9 p.m.

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of July 21, 2014 to July 27, 2014

 

·         Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network in all primetime (M-SU) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Also, Univision aired 10 out of the top 25 most popular programs on all of broadcast television last week among Adults 18-49.

 

·         On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering CBS in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

·         On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  

·         On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, CBS, and FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 5 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

·         For the second consecutive Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

·         For the third consecutive Friday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 3 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

·         On Saturday night, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-performing ABC and CBS in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 2.0 Million), Adults 18-49 (+21% to 856,000), and Adults 18-34 (+33% to 360,000).

 

·         On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the #3 broadcast network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-performing ABC and NBC in each demographic. 

ü  At 8 p.m., “Bailando Por Un Sueño” (Dancing for a Dream) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+9% to 2.3 Million), Adults 18-49 (+9% to 985,000), and Adults 18-34 (+30% to 392,000).

ü  For the second consecutive week, “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network at 10 p.m. among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  The show saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+6% to 2.4 Million), Adults 18-49 (+13% to 1.2 Million), and Adults 18-34 (+19% to 412,000).

 

·         The premiere week of Univision’s 8 p.m. telenovela “Mi Corazón es Tuyo” (My Heart is Yours) reached 8.4 Million Total Viewers 2+ and helped Univision rank as the #1 rated broadcast network for the hour among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.   

 

·         Univision’s 9 p.m. telenovela “Lo Que La Vida Me Robó” (What Life Took From Me) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.  The telenovela saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+4% to 3.9 Million), Adults 18-49 (+8% to 2.0 Million), and Adults 18-34 (+6% to 865,000).

 

·         Univision’s 10 p.m. telenovela “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos” (The Poor, Rich Family) helped Univision rank as the #1 broadcast network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #2 among Adults 18-49.  The telenovela saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+8% to 3.3 Million), Adults 18-49 (+12% to 1.8 Million), and Adults 18-34 (+14% to 857,000).
