UniMás Grew its Audience Season-over-Season Among Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), Adults 18-49 (+14%) and Adults 18-34 (+12%) 

For the Third Consecutive Saturday Night, UniMás Ranked as the No. 2 Spanish-Language Network Among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34

 

UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of August 4, 2014 to August 10, 2014

 

·         In the current 2013/2014 season, UniMás reported primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+16%), Adults 18-49 (+14%), and Adults 18-34 (+12%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season. 

 

·         For the third consecutive Saturday night, UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network, out-delivering Telemundo among Total Viewers (+82%), Adults 18-49 (+62%), and Adults 18-34 (+75%).

ü  UniMás’ feature film presentation, “I, Robot” (7pm-9pm) delivered more than double the viewers (+128%) than Telemundo’s “El Cartel de los Sapos” among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34.

ü  Following at 9pm, UniMás attracted more viewers with the movie “The Crow” than Telemundo’s “Fútbol Estelar” match between Pachuca and Guadalajara by +70% among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34. 

 

·         Versus the comparable week a year ago (08/05/13 – 08/11/13), UniMás attracted +23% more Total Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 viewers during broadcast prime.

 

·         On Wednesday night, UniMás registered double-digit percentage gains among Adults 18-34 (+40%) over the prior Wednesday thanks to its primetime line-up, which featured an MLS All Star match vs. Bayern Munich at 930pm on UniMás. 

ü  The match delivered 247,000 Adults 18-49, up +30% compared to last year’s MLS All-Star game vs. Roma.

 

·         UniMás increased its audience for the second consecutive Friday night. UniMás’ “Cineplex” presentation of “The Legend of Bruce Lee” (8pm-11pm) registered double-digit percentage growth over the prior Friday film, “Category 8,” among both Adults 18-49 (+24% to 258,000) and Adults 18-34 (+12% to 85,000).

 

·         UniMás, on average, attracted more viewers than the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+51%), Adults 18-49 (+62%), and Adults 18-34 (+88%).
