‘Grimm’ renewed for Season 6 by NBC
NBC has officially renewed “Grimm,” the network announced Tuesday, with the supernatural crime drama set to return for a sixth season.
“We absolutely love what our producers and cast have accomplished over the past five seasons,” NBC Entertainment Jennifer Salke says in a statement. “They have created a whole new world of creatures and have a truly devoted fan base. We can’t wait to see what comes next.”
Throughout its fifth season, “Grimm” has been averaging around 4 million total viewers each episode, with a 0.9 same-day average in the adults 18-49 demographic. The numbers grow by about 90 percent in Live +7 ratings, making it one of the network’s most time-shifted series.
“Grimm” follows the story of a Portland detective tasked with keeping the balance between mankind and the mythological. It stars David Guintoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bitsie Tulloch and Bree Turner.
