Syndicated TV ratings, May 16-22: ‘Family Feud’ edges out ‘Judge Judy’
“Family Feud” was the top weekday show in syndication for the week of May 16-22, drawing a 7.4 household rating. It edged out usual leader “Judge Judy” (7.3) by a tenth of a point.
“Dr. Phil” (3.1) maintained its slim lead over “Live with Kelly and Michael” (3.0) at the top of the talk show rankings.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
