Thursday final ratings: NBA Finals tops 2015’s Game 1, ‘Big Bang’ adjusts up, ‘American Grit’ down


Final broadcast primetime live + same-day ratings for Thursday, June 2, 2016

Game 1 of the NBA Finals adjusted up by 1.3 points from Thursday’s fast nationals, finishing with a 7.3 rating in adults 18-49. That’s up from 6.9 for Game 1 last year.

Also Thursday, a “Big Bang Theory” rerun (1.6) on CBS adjusted up a tenth of a point, while “American Grit” adjusted down a tenth to 0.6.

Upward adjustments in adults 18-49 are in green; downward adjustments are in red.

Time Shifted Viewing:
 Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
