TV Ratings Wednesday: NBA Finals dominate again, ‘Ninja Warrior’ and ‘Masterchef’ hold up

ABC’s coverage of the NBA Finals scored another big ratings win Wednesday. Pending updates, the game drew a 5.2 rating in adults 18-49, down from the fast-national 5.5 for Sunday’s Game 2 (which aired entirely in primetime). The game’s metered-market household rating of 11.8 tied Game 2.
Elsewhere, NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” held up pretty well opposite the NBA with a 1.6, down 0.1 from its premiere last week. “The Night Shift” (0.9), however, fell 0.2 week to week.
FOX’s “Masterchef” matched its 1.2 from last week, but “Wayward Pines” slipped a tenth to 0.7.
