AMC has set the premiere date for the next season of “The Walking Dead.”

The zombie drama’s seventh season will debut Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. That’s a couple weeks later than the premieres for recent seasons, which have typically aired on the second Sunday of October. Per usual, the 16-episode season will be split into two parts, with the first eight episodes airing in the fall and the second half debuting in February 2017.

The Season 7 debut will be followed by the season premieres of after-show “Talking Dead,” hosted by Chris Hardwick, at 10 p.m. and “Comic Book Men” at midnight.

AMC will also air a season preview special, hosted by Hardwick, at 10 p.m. Aug. 14 and a series recap special a week before the premiere at 9 p.m. Oct. 16.

AMC also released a teaser for Season 7 at “The Walking Dead’s” Comic-Con session on Friday. Take a look:
