‘Flaked’ picked up for Season 2 on Netflix
Netflix has renewed Will Arnett’s comedy “Flaked” for Season 2, the streaming service announced via the show’s Facebook page on Thursday.
The show debuted its eight-episode freshman season on March 11. Season 2 will consist of six episodes, set to premiere in 2017.
“Flaked” is described as a dry human comedy about a slice of life centered on Chip (Arnett), a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of L.A.’s Venice neighborhood who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel.
The show is executive produced by Arnett and Mark Chappell, along with Ben Silverman, Peter Principato and Mitchell Hurwitz. The cast also includes David Sullivan, Ruth Kearney, Lina Esco and George Basil.
