TV Ratings Tuesday: ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ opens higher, ‘AGT’ and ‘Running Wild’ rise

The third season of “Bachelor in Paradise” premiered to better ratings Tuesday than it got in all of Season 2. It earned a 1.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.59 million viewers, its best performance since the Season 1 finale in 2014. “Mistresses” (0.6), however, was down a tenth of a point vs. its most recent Monday airing last week.
“America’s Got Talent” (2.4) was up week to week for NBC, and it helped “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” (1.4) top its Monday premiere by three tenths. It tied its second-highest demo rating and had its biggest total audience ever at 5.31 million.
“Zoo” is currently even with last week’s fast-national 0.8 (it adjusted down in the finals). The finale of “Coupled” posted a 0.4 for FOX, in line with its average.
