Syndicated TV ratings, Aug. 29-Sept. 4: ‘Judge Judy’ stays in front of ‘Family Feud’
The top of the syndicated rankings for Aug. 29-Sept. 4 looks just like it did the previous few weeks: “Judge Judy” is in front with a 6.9 household rating (its fifth consecutive week at No. 1, and “Family Feud” is second with a 6.3. It’s led the game-show category for 19 weeks running.
“Dr. Phil” and “Live with Kelly” tied for the lead among talk shows at 2.3, with both shows in reruns.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
