Tuesday final ratings: ‘America’s Got Talent’ adjusts up, ‘Better Late Than Never’ down


Final broadcast primetime live + same-day ratings for Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016

The final performance episode of “America’s Got Talent” saw its ratings improve a bit from Tuesday’s early numbers to the finals. It adjusted up a tenth of a point in adults 18-49 to a season-high 2.8.

The finale of “Better Late Than Never” on NBC adjusted down a tenth to 1.6, in line with previous episodes. Several ABC reruns and an “NCIS” repeat on CBS also adjusted down.

Upward adjustments in adults 18-49 are in green; downward adjustments are in red.

Time Shifted Viewing:
 Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include  viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
