A pair of new shows hit the air Friday, but chances are you’ve already heard of both of them.

CBS unveils a new version of “MacGyver” at 8 p.m. ET/PT, while FOX debuts with a TV version of “The Exorcist” at 9 p.m.

“MacGyver” stars Lucas Till in the title role, first played by Richard Dean Anderson from 1987-95. The new MacGyver lacks a mullet but retains an affinity for on-the-fly problem-solving; “CSI” veteran George Eads and Sandrine Holt also star.

“The Exorcist” is only loosely based on William Peter Blatty’s novel and the classic 1970s horror film it spawned. It stars Geena Davis as a woman who believes there’s a demonic presence in her home and Alfonso Herrera and Ben Daniels as the priests who investigate her claim.

Friday ratings are generally lower than other weeknights, but can either show emerge as a viable player on the night? Vote below on how you think they’ll perform.
