    In the week of Sept. 19-23, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” kicked off the new season by ticking up from its previous 0.80 to a 0.89 rating in adults 18-49, continuing to hold its firm place at the top of the 11:35 p.m. time slot.     Final broadcast primetime live + same-day ratings for Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 As they did last week, NBC’s two comedies adjusted up from the early ratings Thursday to the finals. Both “Superstore” (1.3) and “The Good Place” (1.3) ticked up a tenth of a point in adults 18-49.
