After thirteen weeks of the 2011-12 TV season (through 12/18/11), CBS (up 6% vs. last season) and FOX (up 17%) remain tied in the advertiser prized adults 18-49 ratings for the season with a 3.3 average rating. ABC is third with a 2.6 rating (even with last season). NBC is fourth with a 2.5 rating (down 7%). Univision is in fifth with a 1.5 rating average (down 6%) . CW is sixth with a 0.9 rating average (down 25%).
In the press release writer coveted total viewership, CBS is comfortably leading averaging 12.58 million viewers. ABC is second with 9.25m, followed by FOX with 9.06m, NBC with 7.37m, Univision with 3.56m and CW with 2.00 million.
Note that these season to date ratings averages are “Most Current” ratings which is a combination of Live + 7 Day DVR viewing for weeks more than 2 weeks ago and Live + Same Day DVR viewing for the immediately preceding 2 weeks.
