CBS led all broadcast networks in week 3 of the broadcast season (ending October 9) with adults 18-49 with a 2.9 rating (down 3% vs. last season’s week 3), ahead of FOX’s 2.6 adults 18-49 rating (up 8%). NBC was third with a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating (up 4%). ABC was fourth with a 2.2 rating (down 12%), followed by Univision with a 1.7 rating (up 13%). The CW finished sixth with a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating average (down 36% vs. last season).
CBS won the week with the press release friendly total viewers averaging 11.32 million viewers, ahead of second place ABC’s 8.20 million average. NBC was third with 7.27 million, followed by FOX with 7.10 m, Univision with 3.93m, and the CW 1.66m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
