In the 29th week of the 35 week broadcast season (April 4-10), assisted by Monday’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Final game, for the second week in a row CBS topped the primetime adults 18-49 ratings competition for the week averaging a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating.
Fox, just behind in second place, averaged a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating for the week in second place. ABC finished in third with a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. NBC and Univision again finished tied for fourth with a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating average. The CW finished fifth with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating average.
CBS was also on top of the press release friendly, but revenue meaningless, average viewership for the week averaging 11.16 million viewers. Trailing them were Fox 7.84 million, ABC 7.59m, NBC 5.06m, Univision 4.01m, and the CW 1.26m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
