The Grammy Awards had their highest adults 18-49 rating since 2004, and that was just enough to put CBS ahead of Fox in the week 21 ratings race.
CBS averaged a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating for the week edging Fox which finished a tenth of a point behind in second with a 3.3 rating. ABC finished third with a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. NBC trailed in fourth with a 1.6 rating.
Without the Super Bowl on Fox, CBS was back at the top of the press release friendly, but revenue meaningless, average viewership for the week.
The network’s average viewership is charted in millions of viewers, just like we report all other average viewership information on the site, and adults 18-49 is charted as ratings points. Note the units (million viewers on the left, rating on the right) below the bars.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
