For the second week in a row Sunday Night Football put NBC ahead of the competition in the weekly broadcast primetime adults 18-49 ratings averages in week 13, finishing with a 2.8 adults 18-49 ratings average for the week.
CBS, with mostly new episodes and boosted by a Sunday football overrun, finished second with a 2.7 rating average. Fox finished third with a 1.6 rating average, and really taking a hit from its interim holiday programming, ABC finished a distant fourth among English broadcasters (fifth behind Univision) with a 1.3 rating average.
CBS topped the press release friendly, but advertiser ignored, average viewership for the week.
The network’s average viewership is charted in millions of viewers, just like we report all other average viewership information on the site, and adults 18-49 is charted as ratings points. Note the units (million viewers on the left, rating on the right) below the bars.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
