In the 28th week of the 35 week broadcast season (March 28 – April 3), CBS’ NCAA Final Four broadcast in Saturday primetime gave it the boost it needed to top the primetime adults 18-49 ratings competition for the week averaging a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating.

Fox averaged a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating for the week in second place. ABC finished in third with a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating. NBC and Univision finished tied for fourth with a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating average.  The CW finished fifth with a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating average.

CBS was also on top of the press release friendly, but revenue meaningless, average viewership for the week averaging 11.79 million viewers. Trailing them were ABC 9.43 million, Fox 8.26m, NBC 5.38m, Univision 3.97m, and the CW 1.06m.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.315 million adults 18-49.
