Brazil Croatia World Cup

ESPN’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup opening match between Brazil and Croatia earned a 3.2 metered market household rating, an increase of 52 percent from a 2.1 for the opening match of the 2010 World Cup. Strong local market ESPN ratings for the game were Washington D.C. (5.1 household rating), Boston (5.0 household rating), Los Angeles (4.6 household rating) and New York (4.5 Household rating.)

Final ratings, including total viewers and adults 18-49 ratings, will be available this afternoon.
