Tonight, Tyrant, FX’s heavily hyped new drama about an American man who is secretly the son of a Middle Eastern dictator, premieres on FX. The network has had great success in the Tuesday, 10PM time period this season. Sons of Anarchy premiered to a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating. American Horror Story debuted with a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating. But FX also has a couple of critically acclaimed ratings duds in its line-up. The Americans season two premiere garnered a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating, while last summer The Bridge premiered to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating, However, both of those shows aired on Wednesday night. Where will Tyrant fall on the spectrum?
