In the Friday cable ratings last week, The Discovery Channel’s “Gold Rush” managed to reclaim the top spot of the night once again with a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 2.848 million viewers. This was the same as what “Gold Rush” had scored the week before. ESPN followed closely behind and scored the second and third-highest spots in the ratings with its back-to-back broadcasts of the Dallas vs LA Lakers and Minnesota vs Houston NBA basketball games, which raked in two 0.6s.

On A&E, “Live PD” took a minor hit and fell two-tenths from its previous 0.7 t0 a 0.5 this time around. Meanwhile, on the Discovery Channel, “Gold Rush: White Water”  experienced a similar drop in the ratings, falling from a 0.5 to a 0.4. In addition, the season 4 finale of Lifetime’s “Rap Game” brought the series back into the top 25 by ticking up one-tenth from a 0.2 to a 0.3.
