The season finale of “Gold Rush” on Discovery stayed atop Friday’s cable ratings, earning a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.56 million viewers. An aftershow following the 90-minute finale tied for third among originals for the day with a 0.8.

ESPN and ESPN2 grabbed seven spots in the Top 25 with college basketball coverage, led by a primetime ACC Tournament game that finished just behind “Gold Rush” with a 1.0. Lifetime’s “Bring It!” and “Rap Game” each posted a 0.4. “Mama June: From Not to Hot” cooled some more for WE, dipping a tenth to 0.3.
