This year’s NCAA basketball tournament continued to dominate the Friday cable ratings last week, as TBS’ coverage throughout the day scored the network 1.4 – 0.7 ratings in adults 18-49. Meanwhile, a special episode of “Gold Rush” raked in a 0.4 for the Discovery Channel, just two-tenths less than the 0.6 it scored in the previous week.
“Mama June: From Not to Hot” managed to maintain a 0.4 for the second week in a row on WE. On Lifetime, both “Bring It!” and “Rap Game” kept their season-long 0.4 streaks going once again. With its Season 9 premiere, “RuPaul’s Drag Race” landed near the top of the ratings with a 0.5 on VH1. That’s a sizable bump from typical numbers at its former home, Logo.
