FOX Sports’ led the Friday cable ratings last week with its broadcast of the MLB playoff game between the New York Yankees and Houston, which scored a 1.6 rating in adults 18-49. The network’s post-game special followed closely behind with a 0.8 as well. ESPN also landed in the Top 5 of the night with its coverage of the Clemson vs Syracuse and Washington State vs California college football games scoring two 0.8s.

The season 8 premiere of The Discovery Channel’s “Gold Rush” rounded out the Top 5 and raked in a 0.7 for itself, down one-tenth from the season 7 premiere’s 0.8. A special lead-in episode of the show also grabbed a 0.4 on the network.

A&E’s “Live PD” took a minor hit, falling from its previous 0.6 to a 0.5 this time around. Meanwhile, The Disney Channel’s “Raven’s Home” held steady with a 0.3 for the second week in a row.
