The season-opening “Monday Night Football” doubleheader brought in a smaller audience than last season’s debut, but it still dominated the night for ESPN.

Elsewhere, the season finale of “Preacher” on AMC drew a 0.4, up a tenth from a week earlier. “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” (1.0) was also up a tenth, and “The Real Housewives of Orange County” was steady at 0.6. “WWE Monday Night Raw” went 1.0/1.0/0.9 over its three hours.
