Broadcast primetime live + same-day ratings for Friday, Jan. 20, 2017
The numbers for Friday, which include an ABC veteran taking the top spot, while the rest pulled in respectable ratings as well:

After taking a minor hit last week, ABC’s “Last Man Standing” claimed the top spot in the Friday ratings this week by maintaining a 1.3 rating in adults 18-49 for the second week in a row. CBS’ “Blue Bloods” grabbed the second spot of the night, dropping one-tenth from its previous 1.3 to 1.2.
“Dr. Ken” managed to climb back up one-tenth from a 0.9 to 1 .0 as well, as “Hawaii Five-o” dipped to a 1.0. Meanwhile, CBS’ coverage of the Inauguration of Donald Trump scored a 0.7 for the network and ABC rounded out its night with the always reliable “20/20” raking in a 0.9 and a “Shark Tank” rerun (1.0).
Following its season premiere a few weeks back, NBC’s “Emerald City” continued its post-premiere drop, falling just one-tenth from a 0.8 to a 0.7 this week. Also on NBC, “Grimm” held steady with a 0.8.
On The CW, “The Vampire Diaries” dipped one-tenth to a 0.3 and “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” stayed on track with a 0.2. Both “Sleepy Hollow” (0.5) and “Rosewood” (0.6) fell one-tenth from their previous ratings on FOX.

Time Shifted Viewing: Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
