Professional and college football were the runaway leaders in the Live +3 ratings for the final week of 2016 (plus New Year’s Day).

The last “Monday Night Football” of the season was No. 1 in both adults 18-49 (5.8, unchanged from its initial rating) and viewers (18.75 million, up 1 percent). College football’s Orange Bowl was second with a 3.4 and 11.55 million viewers.

The top non-sports shows, “Love & Hip Hop” in adults 18-49 (1.7) and “The Curse of Oak Island in viewers (4.78 million), each pulled in half or less the audience of the Orange Bowl.
