Here are the same-day, Live +3 and Live +7 adults 18-49 ratings for every show that aired on FOX in the 2016-17 season. Same-day ratings are for all new episodes aired in-season (Sept. 19, 2016-May 24, 2017), including those coded as specials. DVR ratings may not include episodes coded as specials. Summer shows that aired one or two episodes in season aren’t included.

Highest-rated shows: “The OT” stayed at 4.6 throughout all three measurement periods. Among non-sports shows, “Empire” led the way by a pretty good margin, finishing a full point ahead of the next-highest show in night-of airings (2.8 vs. 1.8 for “The Simpsons”) and increasing the gap in Live +3 and Live +7.

Biggest rise in the rankings: “Scream Queens” went from tied for 28th in the same-day ratings to 24th in both Live +3 and Live +7. That wasn’t enough to save it from cancellation.

Biggest fall (excluding sports): “Son of Zorn” and “Shots Fired” each fell five places from same-day to Live +3 and one more from Live +3 to Live +7.
