The finale of “This Is Us” scored its best ratings of the season the night it aired, so it’s not a surprise it also has its best numbers after three days of DVR and on-demand viewing too.

What is a mild surprise, however, is the fact the finale didn’t grow by quite as much as the previous week. The March 14 episode has a 5.0 rating among adults 18-49 in the Live +3 ratings, 0.2 ahead of the 4.8 for the week before. Maybe because more people tuned in as it aired, however, the finale’s 1.6-point growth is a little less than the 1.8-point gain for the March 7 outing.

“This Is Us” also sits at No. 1 in viewers with 16.91 million after three days. Again, its growth was a little smaller this time out (4.08 million vs. 4.68 million), but with a higher starting point (12.84 million vs. 11.15 million).
