“Roseanne” remained a clear No. 1 in the Live +3 ratings for April 2-8, but its margin of victory isn’t quite as large as it was for its premiere.

The No. 2 show on the broadcast networks, “The Big Bang Theory,” closed the gap with “Roseanne” despite being down slightly week to week. “Big Bang” sits at a 3.6 rating in adults 18-49, down from 3.7 the week prior. “Roseanne’s” post-premiere decline was bigger — 7.3 to 5.7, a drop of about 22 percent (it was down 25 percent in the same-day ratings, so it made up a little bit of that loss in three days).

“Roseanne” also posted the biggest overall gains (+1.8 in adults 18-49 and +4.93 million viewers), with “The Big Bang Theory” again running second (+1.2, +3.59 million).
