LOS ANGELES, July 9, 2010 — Art Direction Emmy Award nominations in four categories for primetime programs telecast between June 1, 2009, and May 31, 2010, were announced July 8 from the Television Academy’s Leonard Goldenson Theatre.

John Shaffner, ADG Council Vice Chairman and Chairman and CEO of the Academy, is a two-time nominee this year as noted below along with all Art Direction nominations.

Winners will be announced August 21, during the Academy’s Creative Arts Awards from the Nokia Theatre at L.A. LIVE. An edited version of these and all other craft award winners will be televised by the E! Network on Friday, August 27. The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards will telecast on NBC on Sunday, August 29.
