E! will be there to capture every moment of the 2011 Primetime Emmy ® Awards Red Carpet glamour and excitement for viewers with four hours of live coverage with its signature show, Live From the Red Carpet, serving as the centerpiece of the broadcast from 3:00-5:00pm PT/6:00-8:00pm ET. As it has for more than a decade, Live From the Red Carpet will give viewers the best seat in the house for all the action and excitement of TV’s biggest Red Carpet event of the year, from the clamor of celebrity arrivals to interviews with Hollywood’s most popular stars, to 360° coverage of all the stunning fashions. With more than 20 cameras outside of LA’s famed Nokia Theatre dedicated to all the pre-show action, nobody covers the Red carpet like E! E!’s Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic host Live From the Red Carpet: The 2011 Primetime Emmy® Awards. The ultimate pre-awards show extravaganza and one of E!’s most recognized programming events, this year Live From the Red Carpet will air in more than 160 countries around the world. LRC will deliver the most in-depth and personal one-on-one interviews with the nominees, presenters and special guests that fans want to hear from and see most. Ross Mathews and Kelly Osbourne will bring viewers all the evening’s highlights and fashions from E!’s Exclusive Skybox high above the Red Carpet. To make sure that no detail is spared, E! will have a wide array of cameras, including the limo cam to mark every star’s arrival and the celebrity favorite, Glam Cam360, the popular state-of-the-art Matrix-style camera that displays each couture outfit in a full 360 degree rotation and all of the cam images will be available, and fully interactive, instantly on E! Online. While the stars are getting glammed up at home before stepping into their limos, E! kicks off its wall-to-wall Emmy® coverage with Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2011 Primetime Emmy® Awards hosted by E!’s Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne. Starting at 2:00pm PT / 5:00pm ET, fans can turn to E! for all the latest on Emmy® fashions, exclusive dish on their favorite television shows, up-to-the minute gala preparations and the inside scoop on which stars our experts think will take home the Emmy®. Also joining our hosts are special celebrity guests Joan Rivers, host of E!’s Fashion Police, with Emmy® fashion “do’s and don’t’s” and Project Runway designer Christian Siriano, who will talk about every girl’s favorite accessory…shoes!
On the web, E! Online gives Emmy® fans a complete interactive experience during the red carpet event. Emmy® enthusiasts will stay uber-savvy with all of the A-list arrival pics and red carpet interview clips, as well as a blog chock-full of breaking news, interviews, predictions and exclusive peeks backstage. Joining the most feared fashion foursome in the business will be Project Runway judge and Marie Claire Fashion Director Nina Garcia. These five style experts will dissect all your favorite Hollywood stars’ Red Carpet looks from their arrivals in a sea of flashbulbs, to the moment they accept their award to letting loose at the after-parties, Fashion Police will be your destination for everything Emmy® fashion. Joan and the panel will “face off” against the fashions from some of the biggest names in television including the casts of Mad Men, The Good Wife, Glee, Modern Family, Boardwalk Empire, 30 Rock, Dexter and more.
