Hulu and Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment, creator of globally recognized hit shows like Pop Idol, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, today announced the creation of If I Can Dream, a groundbreaking weekly show that will launch exclusively on Hulu and The partnership between the two companies will be the first of its kind, democratizing access to a television-quality program to audiences around the world, exclusively via the internet.

Taking inspiration from and expanding upon the traditional 30-minute television show format, If I Can Dream is the first in a generation of new post-reality entertainment shows that will document the authentic Hollywood story of five journeys to stardom, revealing every moment of triumph and struggle along the way. Kicking off the launch of the show is this one minute trailer and five preview clips that spotlight the five people selected by Simon Fuller to pursue their dreams in Hollywood. If I Can Dream will launch in America in early 2010.
