“This Is Us” was the biggest breakout among the 2016-17 TV season’s crop of new series, and it can now add this accolade to its trophy case: It’s the No. 1 drama on network TV among adults 18-49 in the Live +7 ratings.

The NBC series finishes the season with a 4.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic, tied for fourth overall on network TV and second (barely) to “The Big Bang Theory’s” 4.9 among non-sports shows. Delayed viewing moves it past FOX’s “Empire” (4.2), which was the top drama in the same-day ratings.

“This Is Us” also posted the biggest gains from delayed viewing, rising 2.1 points — higher than the total rating of three-quarters of broadcast shows — with seven days of DVR and on-demand playback.

Let’s also give a shout-out to “Grey’s Anatomy” (3.1), “NCIS” (2.5) and “Law & Order: SVU” (2.4). Thirteen, 14 and 18 seasons in, the three longest-running dramas currently on TV are all Top 25 shows in Live +7.
