You’ll have one more year to answer the question of, “What the heck is ‘Mozart in the Jungle’?”

Amazon has renewed the show for a third season. The pickup comes on the heels of its Golden Globe victories for best comedy series and best actor in a comedy series (Gael Garcia Bernal), which prompted the question above from more than a few viewers of the awards.

“Mozart” is a show about the politics and relationships in a symphony orchestra. Bernal plays the conductor; the cast also includes Lola Kirke, Malcolm McDowell, Saffron Burrows and Bernadette Peters. Jason Schwartzman is among the executive producers.

There’s no word yet on when Season 3 will appear. Season 2 began streaming in late December.
