ABC has canceled “Nashville” after four seasons. The show’s season finale on May 25 will be its final episode.

The show has been squarely on the bubble for much of the season, but recent reports suggested ABC (which co-produces the drama with Lionsgate) might bring it back for a final season in 2016-17. That turned out not to be the case.

The show was on the lower end of ABC’s scripted ratings this season, averaging just under a 1.0 same-day rating. Its last episode over the 1.0 mark aired in November.

The series joins these shows that have been canceled or ended their runs in 2015-16.
