As you’ve probably noticed, the fast national ratings for Saturday, Sunday and Monday (March 11-13) haven’t been released as of the time of this post. Nielsen has been dealing with some rather large issues involving its data.

When most of the country switches to daylight saving time, delays on that night’s ratings are expected. They usually arrive a few hours after their normal posting time. However, Nielsen’s data center in Florida was also hit with a power outage early Sunday, which has caused the additional delays.

“Nielsen continues to work with the local electric company and our technology teams to resolve issues caused by the … power outage,” Nielsen said in an e-mail to clients sent Monday. “At this time we do not have any additional details to share regarding application availability or data delivery schedules for the services impacted.”

In addition to the overnight broadcast ratings for Saturday through Monday, weekend cable ratings and weekly reports are pushed back as well. So anyone curious about numbers for “The Walking Dead” or “American Crime” or “The Bachelor” finale will have to bide her time.

The usual release of Monday finals and cable will likely be late too. We’ll post the data as soon as we can once it does arrive.
