Four years after it first aired, Sundance and the BBC are putting together another season of “Top of the Lake.”

Elisabeth Moss will reprise her role as Robin, a detective who in the first season investigated the case of a missing, pregnant 12-year-old girl in New Zealand. The new season will be set four years after the events of Season 1.

Gwendoline Christie (“Game of Thrones,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”) will star alongside Moss. Jane Campion is once again directing and co-writing with Gerard Lee.

The show will first air on BBC Two in the U.K. in 2017, with Sundance getting it later in the year for the U.S. audience. Sundance is streaming Season 1 of “Top of the Lake” on its website and app through May 6.
