USA is betting big on its unscripted series “Chrisley Knows Best.”

The cable channel has renewed the series for a sixth season, which will debut in 2018. In addition, it’s expanded the order for Season 5 to 26 episodes — including a two-part Christmas special to wrap up the season — and is adding an aftershow called “According to Chrisley.”

The first part of Season 5, which aired in the spring, brought in 3.2 million viewers per week in Live +7 ratings, the series’ biggest audience ever. USA will air 18 more episodes starting Sept. 12, bringing the total for the season to 26 (the same as “Chrisley’s” fourth season). The Christmas special will serve as the season finale.

On top of all that, “Knows Best” star Todd Chrisley will also host eight episodes of “According to Chrisley,” with the first episode scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET/PT Sept. 12 following the return of “Knows Best.”

Per USA’s press release, “According to Chrisley” will feature the family patriarch “tackling the truth about marriage, parenting, sex and relationships” for a live audience. Each episode will feature a member of the family and a celebrity guest.

Season 6 of “Chrisley Knows Best” will premiere in 2018.
