Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (9-10pm – 4.3 million and 1.5/4 in AD18-49): Spiking over its lead-in (+48%/+67%) on its return after the prior week’s preemption, opposite the second hour of NBC’s 2-hour The Voice, ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was on par with its most recent Fast Affiliate numbers in Total Viewers (4.3 million vs. 4.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.5/4 vs. 1.7/5).  From 9-10pm, S.H.I.E.L.D. beat Fox’s comedies by 25% in Adults 18-49 (New Girl/The Mindy Project = 1.2/3) and finished as the #1 scripted series in its hour among Men 18-34 (4th straight telecast) and Men 18-49.

 

·         L7 Playback Lift: In the most recent week of L+7 data (w/o 10/21/14), S.H.I.E.L.D. shot up 81% in Adults 18-49 over its L+SD number (+1.3 rating points – from a 1.6 rating to a 2.9 rating) to deliver the series’ biggest-ever playback lift.   

 

 

Forever (10-11pm – 4.2 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):   At 10pm, ABC’s Forever held steady with its most recent telecast two weeks ago in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 vs. 1.1/3).   The freshman ABC drama boosted its hour year to year by 50% in Total Viewers and by 25% in Adults 18-49 from the year-ago special (Scandal for Real = 2.8 million and 0.8/2 on 11/12/13).  Season to date, Forever has improved its hour for ABC by 119% in Total Viewers (8.1 million vs. 3.7 million) and by 82% in Adults 18-49 (2.0/6 vs. 1.1/3).
