CBS News’ FACE THE NATION posted 3.37m viewers and 0.8/03 in adults 25-54 the demographic most important to those who advertise in news according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Nov. 16Editor’s Note: FACE THE NATION’s second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 55% of the CBS affiliates. 

 

            On Nov. 16, FACE THE NATION was first in viewers and tied for first in adults 25-54 among the Sunday morning public affairs programs.

 

            Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers (3.27m) and adults 25-54 (0.8/04).

 

The Nov. 16 broadcast of FACE THE NATION featured interviews with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), and Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT). Host Bob Schieffer also spoke to Ruth Marcus of the The Washington Post, Jerry Seib of The Wall Street Journal, Dana Milbank of The Washington Post, and Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic and Bloomberg View.
