6 MILLION VIEWERS FOR THE SEVENTH TIME IN THE PAST EIGHT WEEKS
“CBS SUNDAY MORNING” REMAINS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM WITH VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD averaged more than 6 million viewers for the seventh time in the past eight weeks and remained the #1 Sunday morning news program, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 15.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING drew 6.04 million viewers and a 1.5/08 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day a year ago, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +1% in viewers (from 5.98m).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is averaging 6.11 million viewers, up +2% (from 5.97m) compared to last year.
Sunday’s love-themed broadcast featured Rita Braver’s interview with singer John Legend; Lee Cowan’s look at a couple that has been married for 81 years; Michelle Miller’s report on the fact and fiction behind aphrodisiacs; Martha Teichner’s exploration of the life and loves of sex researchers Dr. Bill Masters and Virginia Johnson; Nancy Giles’ segment on buying a mattress; Jane Pauley’s story about the high-end jewelry of Cartier; Susan Spencer’s report on broken hearts and Erin Moriarty’s sit down with advice columnist Dan Savage.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
