Chef Jason Roberts has been named a correspondent of ABC’s “The Chew,” it was announced today by executive producer Gordon Elliott.
Roberts is an internationally known chef who brings his unique flair and cooking style to “The Chew.” As a correspondent, he will travel and share food-related stories from around the country. He will also appear in-studio on occasion.
“Jason is a welcome addition to ‘The Chew,’” said Elliott. “I look forward to him sharing his incredible talents with our viewers and joining our amazing team of hosts.”
A native of New Zealand, Roberts is best known for his charismatic smile and “cheeky” personality. Having grown up in a family of food professionals, Roberts discovered a passion for food at a young age. Turning it into a career, he spent seven years as an executive chef in Australia, and in 2005 hosted the food talk show, “Jason Roberts’ Taste” on the PAX Television Network. He is the author of two cookbooks, Elements and Graze: Lots of Little Meals Fast.
