COMEDY CENTRAL® AND PEPSI ANNOUNCE “CRAIG ROBINSON & THE NASTY DELICIOUS” AS HALFTIME ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE “KEY & PEELE SUPER BOWL SPECIAL” PREMIERING JANUARY 30 AT 10 P.M. ET/PT ON COMEDY CENTRAL
THREE-PART COMPANION WEB SERIES DEBUTS ON THE COMEDY CENTRAL AND PEPSI YOUTUBE CHANNELS
NEW YORK, January 22, 2015 – Comedy Central and Pepsi announced today that Craig Robinson and his band, “Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious”—as part of Pepsi’s official “Hyped for Halftime” Super Bowl Halftime promotion—will provide midpoint entertainment during the “Key & Peele Super Bowl Special” airing January 30th at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. A three-part Web series sponsored by Pepsi will lead into the performance, with the first episode available now on the Comedy Central and Pepsi YouTube channels.
The series will follow Robinson as he works to get the band back together and pursue his dream of playing the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. The second and third installments of the web series will premiere Friday, January 23, and Monday, January 26, on the Comedy Central YouTube Channel and Comedy Central’s social platforms.
Both the Web series and special performance by “Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious” are produced by Viacom Velocity and sponsored by Pepsi.

Robinson will also appear in the upcoming film “Hot Tub Time Machine 2,” hitting theaters February 20.
