NEW YORK, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ — COMEDY CENTRAL is looking for a hero! Viewers can stop trying to figure out if that object in the sky is a bird or a plane, because “Superhero Movie” is debuting with a special two-night premiere on Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31 at 9:00 p.m.

Written and directed by Craig Mazin (“Scary Movie 3”), “Superhero Movie” stars Drake Bell, Kevin Hart and Leslie Nielsen. When Rick Riker (Bell) is bitten by a genetically-altered dragonfly, he develops super-human powers and decides to become a superhero – The Dragonfly. However, scientist Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald) has his own plan to become a supervillain. In this comedic take on superhero movies, The Dragonfly attempts to save the world – if he can only keep his tights from riding up his butt. The movie also includes appearances by Tracy Morgan, Pamela Anderson, Dan Castellaneta, Jeffrey Tambor and Nicole Sullivan.

An encore presentation of “Superhero Movie” airs Monday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.
