DEADLIEST CATCH Is #1 For 10th Consecutive Week; Season Premiere of AFTER THE CATCH Is #2 For the Night

On the strength of Tuesday night’s lineup, Discovery Channel was the #1 network in delivery among all cable networks during prime, among P/M25-54 and P/M18-49 (no exclusions).  Discovery was the #2 network in all of cable Tuesday evening among W25-54/W18-49.

All-new episode of DEADLIEST CATCH and the season premiere of AFTER THE CATCH were the top two programs in all of cable on Tuesday night, among P/M25-54 and M18-49.  The DEADLIEST CATCH premiere at 9PM earned a 2.61 HH / 2.29 P25-54 AA%, making it the #1 primetime (8P-11P) cable program (no exclusions) for P/M/W25-54 and P/M18-49 delivery.  It surpassed several primetime broadcast telecasts on 6/15/10, bringing in more viewers in key demos than ABC, CBS and NBC.

The 10PM season premiere of AFTER THE CATCH earned a 1.83 HH / 1.54 P25-54 AA%, making it the #2 primetime (8P-11P) cable program (no exclusions / 2nd only to DEADLIEST CATCH) for P/M25-54 and M18-49 delivery.  This premiere is up +13% versus season premiere of AFTER THE CATCH last year, which earned a 1.36 P25-54 AA% in 2Q09.
