Ratings Streak Continues As Series Hits Mid-Season Mark
For the 7th consecutive week, Discovery Channel’s DEADLIEST CATCH was the #1 non-sports telecast on Tuesday night with the May 26 premiere episode delivering top ratings among key demos, including P25-54 (2182), M25-54 (1263) and M18-49 (1284) in all of ad-supported cable.
Among M18-49, the episode was second only to the NBA playoffs on TNT during the 9PM hour, attracting a larger audience than CBS’ The Mentalist, FOX’s Mental, NBC’s TV’s Funniest Phrases, and ABC’s Diamonds – Part 2.
The June 2 at 9PM ET/PT episode of DEADLIEST CATCH is the start of the Opelio crab fishing season and the stakes are higher than ever, with some of the most dangerous weather conditions the boats have ever faced.
